Cr Jess Jennings, Mayor of Bathurst Regional Council

Mayor Jess Jennings was born in Bathurst. Jess has an honours degree in Economics and Econometrics, a Dairy Australia scholarship doctorate on The Effectiveness of Participatory Research in Agriculture and has worked as a Research Economist specialising in on-farm technology adoption for both NSW and Australian Departments of Agriculture.

Jess was elected to Bathurst Regional Council in September 2012, and was elected Mayor of Bathurst Regional Council in September 2023.
