Mr Andrew Wilsmore

Andrew Wilsmore has started as the new General Manager for Dubbo Regional Council this week and is already getting straight into the role with his first Ordinary Council meeting tonight in Wellington.

Since arriving Andrew has been meeting locals and exploring the region and said, the region is full of potential and Council plays an incredibly important role in realising the opportunities this will bring. I’m excited about this being a can-do Council where we are focussed on delivering real impact for the community we serve.

He has been enjoying life in the Dubbo Region, attending the annual Dubbo Show on the weekend and seeing first-hand how events like it bring the community together.

Andrew has received a warm welcome from the team and Councillors and has a packed schedule for the coming week, including visiting some of the facilities across the region and getting to know his new community more.
