Looking ahead

Regional Cities NSW will return to Macquarie Street after the new year to advance our advocacy program. 

We are continuing work to build government support for our budget priorities for 2026. The key policy areas will be:

  • Support to deliver more housing in regional cities;

  • Fairer, fares and sustainable airport funding to improve connectivity for regional communities;

  • Safer and more efficient water supplies to support growing regional cities.

We’ll share our pre-budget submission for 2026-27 in the new year.
